Srushti began preparing herself for her UPSC exam in her third year as an engineering student. After her graduation she started to wonder whether she could enjoy a career in engineering job. Her goal became apparent after she began focusing on the civil work. Her parents encouraged her to be an official in the civil service and to pursue an employment in the public sector. She stayed motivated and determined to become an IAS officer. For UPSC to be successful the hard work of a lifetime is necessary. She was also preparing for UPSC exams while studying engineering. Every day, she set aside time to study for her exam. Within just one and a half months, she passed her engineering examinations, and stayed away from all social interactions. She believes that focusing is the most important factor to succeed in the exam of government and becoming an officer in the civil service. She was determined to pass the exam in the first try and put in a lot of effort. In order to stay up-to-date on current affairs her routine was to go through news papers. Rajya Sabha TV and online studying materials also proved to be a great help to her. IAS Srushti Deskmukh IAS Srushti Deskmukh released her book entitled The Answer writing Handbook. You can find it at every library in the state. It's a good book for IAS candidates who are preparing rigorously for the test.
