Megan Gale
Gale was 18 when she received a prize in a modeling contest held at the age of 18 in Perth. Gale won a modeling contest in Perth when she was of 18. After a few years in the modeling industry, Gale became famous when she was asked to be the main character in an advertising campaign for Omnitel which is an Italian telecom company (now Vodafone Italy). Gale was featured in Omnitel's advertisements until 2006, and was subsequently chosen with the Australian Tourist Commission as the face for Australia within Italy.' Gale has appeared on the cover of Australian Marie Claire, Grazia, Gioia, Italian and Australian GQ, Italian Maxim, Australian InStyle and featured in editorials of Australian Cosmopolitan as well as Vogue Italia. Gale has been a model on runways for Italian fashion houses such as Gianfranco Ferre Genny, Gai Mattiolo and also runway for Mariella Burani, and Angelo Marani at Milan Fashion Week. Gale is a fan of a variety of Australian designers like Colette dinnigan, Kirrily Johnsonston, Lisa Ho and Alex Perry. She was also one of the fashion experts for the Logies, an Australian television awards. Gale made it clear in the month of January her decision to retire from modeling on runways after fifteen prosperous years. Then, a couple of weeks later when she was launching the David Jones winter collection in Sydney, Gale walked for her last time on the catwalk. In her final look she donned Wonder Woman's outfit in The Justice League of America movie that never came out. Gale finished Alex Perry's Melbourne Fashion Festival 2011 show in March 2011.
